How to Cancel Paramount Plus on Any Device
How to cancel Paramount Plus at paramountplus.com/account or through Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Roku or Walmart+, and what happens to your access afterwards.
Key takeaways
- If you subscribed on the Paramount+ website, cancel from your account page at paramountplus.com/account.
- Paramount+'s terms say you keep access until the end of your billing period, or the end of a free trial, and fees already paid aren't refunded.
- If Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Roku or another partner bills you, the terms say you must cancel with that company.
- Paramount+ included with Walmart+ is managed in your Walmart account, not on the Paramount+ website.
To cancel Paramount Plus, sign in at paramountplus.com/account in a web browser, choose the option to cancel your subscription and follow the prompts. That's the route Paramount+'s own terms describe for people who subscribed on its website. You keep watching until the end of your billing period, and you won't be charged again.
If you signed up through Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Roku, Walmart+ or another partner, Paramount+ can't cancel it for you. You cancel with that company instead. The sections below cover each one.
Menus change from time to time, so if your screens look different, check help.paramountplus.com for the current steps.
The fastest way to cancel Paramount Plus: the website#
This is the method for anyone who pays Paramount+ directly with a card or PayPal.
- Open a web browser and go to paramountplus.com. Sign in.
- Select your profile initials or icon (usually top right) and choose Account.
- Scroll to your subscription details. The cancel option is usually near the bottom of the page.
- Choose Cancel Subscription.
- Paramount+ may show an offer or ask why you're leaving. Skip it if you just want to cancel, and confirm.
You can also go straight to paramountplus.com/account after signing in.
When it works, your account page should show the date your access ends, and you should get a confirmation email. Keep that email until the date passes.
If you don't see a cancel option, you're probably billed by a partner. Your account page may say who. Skip to the partner section below.
Before you cancel#
- Check the account email. If you've signed up more than once, maybe once on the website and once through an app store, you could have two subscriptions. Search your inbox for Paramount+ receipts to see which email is billed.
- Note your billing date. It's on the account page. Since you keep access until it arrives, you can cancel today and lose nothing.
How to cancel Paramount Plus on iPhone, Android and TV#
Where you cancel depends on who bills you, not which screen you watch on.
| How you pay | Where to cancel | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Directly to Paramount+ | paramountplus.com/account | Works in a phone browser too |
| Through Apple | iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions | The website can't stop Apple billing |
| Through Google Play | Play Store → Payments & subscriptions, or g.co/play/subscriptions | Uninstalling the app doesn't cancel |
| Through Amazon | amazon.com/appstoresubscriptions | Turn off auto-renewal |
| Through Roku | my.roku.com or the Paramount+ channel on Roku | Manage your subscriptions |
| Walmart+ benefit | Your Walmart account → Walmart+ | Managed by Walmart |
| Another partner | The partner's website, app or support | Check the bundle terms |
On an iPhone or iPad#
If you pay Paramount+ directly, open Safari, go to paramountplus.com/account and follow the website steps.
If you subscribed in the iPhone app with Apple billing, cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Paramount+ → Cancel Subscription, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Paramount+'s terms say app store subscribers first need to cancel their auto-renewing payments with the app store.
If there's no cancel button in Apple's list and you see an expiry date instead, the subscription is already set not to renew. Our guide on how to cancel subscriptions on iPhone covers that list in more detail.
On an Android phone or tablet#
If you pay Paramount+ directly, use the website in your browser.
If Google Play bills you, Paramount+'s help center points you to Google's subscriptions page at g.co/play/subscriptions. In the Play Store app:
- Open the Play Store.
- Tap your profile picture.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Choose Paramount+ and tap Cancel subscription.
Paramount+'s help center says it plainly: uninstalling the app won't cancel your subscription. More detail is in our guide to cancelling subscriptions on Android and Google Play.
On a Roku#
If you subscribed through Roku, Paramount+'s help center describes two ways:
- On the web: sign in at my.roku.com, open the section for managing your subscriptions, find Paramount+ and choose to unsubscribe.
- On the device: highlight the Paramount+ channel on the Roku home screen, open the options menu and choose to manage the subscription, then cancel.
On Amazon devices#
If Amazon bills you, Paramount+'s help center points to amazon.com/appstoresubscriptions. Sign in, find Paramount+ and turn off auto-renewal. If you added Paramount+ as a channel inside Prime Video and it isn't listed there, check your Amazon account's memberships and subscriptions, or contact Amazon.
On a smart TV or game console#
Use a phone or computer browser and the website steps, unless your TV or console platform is the one billing you. TV apps rarely have billing menus.
If a partner bills you for Paramount Plus#
Paramount+'s terms of use, updated in September 2026, say that if you bought your subscription through a third party, you must follow that third party's cancellation instructions, and changes to payment or cancellation go through them too. Paramount+'s help center names Amazon, Apple, Google Play and Roku as examples.
A few common partner setups:
Paramount+ with Walmart+#
Walmart+ members can choose a streaming benefit. Walmart's help pages say you can switch between Paramount+ and Peacock (with limits on how often), and you can cancel the streaming benefit at any time.
To manage it, sign in to your Walmart account, open the Walmart+ section, find the video streaming tile and choose to manage your plan. Cancelling your Walmart+ membership itself is a separate decision with its own effects, so if you only want Paramount+ gone, manage the streaming benefit rather than the whole membership.
Walmart's help pages also say that if you already pay Paramount+ directly, you need to cancel that subscription and let it expire before turning on the Walmart+ benefit. If you switched and forgot that step, you could be paying for both.
Paramount+ with a phone carrier or internet provider#
Paramount+ has been offered through phone plans and other bundles, and Paramount+'s help center has pages for some of them. If your carrier provides it, sign in to the carrier's website or app and look for add-ons, perks or entertainment. If it's part of the plan price, removing it may mean changing plans, so check the cost before and after.
How to tell who bills you#
- Your Paramount+ account page often shows the billing source.
- Your statement: a Paramount+ charge means direct billing. An Apple (often APPLE.COM/BILL), Google, Amazon or Roku charge means that platform. No separate charge at all may mean a bundle or a Walmart+ benefit.
If you find a charge you can't explain, our guide on finding every subscription you're paying for shows where else to check.
What happens after you cancel Paramount Plus#
Paramount+'s current terms of use are fairly specific:
- You keep access until the cancellation takes effect. For a paid subscription, that's the end of your current billing period.
- Free trials end at the end of the trial period. If you cancel during a trial, you keep the trial until it runs out, and you aren't charged. The terms say trials are charged automatically at the end unless you cancel.
- No refunds for fees already paid. The terms say paid fees aren't refunded, with exceptions where the law gives you a right to one.
- You won't be charged again unless you restart.
- Downloads stop working once the subscription ends.
If you subscribed through an app store, the store's own refund process applies. For Apple, see how to request an App Store subscription refund. Refunds are never guaranteed.
A worked example#
Say your Paramount+ plan costs $8 a month (a round example, not the current price). Over a year that's $8 × 12 = $96.
If you only watch during one season of a show you like, roughly three months, you pay $8 × 3 = $24. That's $96 − $24 = $72 saved a year.
Many people treat Paramount+ as a "seasonal" service for exactly this reason: a sports season, a new series or a film you've been waiting for. Our guide to streaming rotation explains how to plan this across several services so you're only ever paying for one or two.
Switching plans instead of cancelling#
If cost is the issue, look at a lower plan before you cancel. Paramount+ usually offers more than one tier, and its help center has a page on changing your membership plan from the account page. A cheaper tier with ads may be enough if you watch occasionally.
If you're subscribed through a partner, plan changes usually happen with the partner too.
How to restart Paramount Plus#
- Go to paramountplus.com and sign in with the same email.
- Choose a plan and confirm payment.
Tips:
- Use the same account so your profiles and watchlist are still there.
- Check the price before confirming, since plans and prices change.
- Note any trial end date and put it in your calendar, since trials are charged automatically when they end.
Troubleshooting: when you can't cancel Paramount Plus#
| What you see | What it usually means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| No cancel option on paramountplus.com/account | A partner, app store or Walmart+ bills you | Cancel with that company |
| Paramount+ isn't in iPhone Subscriptions | You don't pay through Apple | Use the website |
| An expiry date instead of a cancel button in Apple's list | Already cancelled | Nothing more to do |
| Two Paramount+ charges | Direct plus app store, or direct plus Walmart+ | Cancel the extra one |
| Charged after cancelling | The renewal processed first | Check the date; contact support |
If a charge keeps appearing and nobody can explain it, contact your bank or card issuer.
Keep track of when Paramount Plus renews#
Seasonal services are the easiest to forget. You sign up for one show, the finale airs, and three months later you're still paying.
The manual fix is a calendar reminder a few days before your billing date. If you have several services, Monthlee puts them in one list with reminders on the day or 1, 2, 3 or 7 days before each charge, without linking your bank. Its monthly "still using it?" check-ins also prompt you to cancel a service you've stopped opening.
The bottom line#
To cancel Paramount Plus, sign in at paramountplus.com/account, choose Cancel Subscription and confirm. If there's no cancel option, check whether Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Roku, Walmart+ or another partner bills you, and cancel there.
You keep access until the paid period or trial ends, and paid fees generally aren't refunded, so cancel as soon as you've decided and keep the confirmation email.
