How to Cancel Peacock (Web, iPhone, Xfinity and More)
How to cancel Peacock on the website or through Apple, Google Play, Roku, Amazon, Xfinity or Walmart+, when to cancel, and what happens to add-ons and access.
Key takeaways
- If Peacock bills you directly, sign in on the website, open your account's subscriptions or plan settings and choose to cancel.
- Peacock's terms say to cancel no later than the day before your next billing date to avoid the next charge.
- If Apple, Google Play, Roku, Amazon, Xfinity, Verizon or another partner bills you, Peacock says it can't cancel your plan, so cancel with that company.
- Cancelling your base plan also cancels add-ons, and Peacock's help center says no refunds are given for past payments unless the law requires one.
To cancel Peacock, sign in to your account on the Peacock website, open your account's subscriptions or plans section and choose the option to cancel. Peacock's help center calls it Cancel All Subscriptions. Confirm, and Peacock says you'll see a confirmation on screen and get an email. Your plan won't renew, and you keep access until your billing cycle ends.
That's for people Peacock bills directly. If you got Peacock through Apple, Google Play, Roku, Amazon, Xfinity, Verizon, Walmart+ or another partner, Peacock says it can't cancel your plan, so you cancel with that company. Peacock's terms also say to cancel no later than the day before your next billing date.
Menus change from time to time, and Peacock's help pages use more than one name for the same screens, so if yours look different, check peacocktv.com/help for the current steps.
The fastest way to cancel Peacock: the website#
This route is for anyone who pays Peacock directly with a card or PayPal.
- Go to peacocktv.com in a web browser and sign in. A phone browser works too.
- Open your account (usually from your profile icon).
- Find the section for your subscriptions or plans and payment.
- Choose Cancel All Subscriptions (or the cancel option shown for your plan).
- Peacock may show an offer first. Skip it if you just want to cancel, and confirm.
Peacock says you'll get an on-screen confirmation and an email. Keep the email until your end date has passed.
If you can't sign in#
Peacock's help center says that if you can't log in to cancel, you can cancel through its chat support. Have the email address you think is on the account ready.
Cancel before the day before your billing date#
Peacock's terms say you must cancel no later than the day before your next recurring billing date to avoid being charged for the next term. Peacock's help center has a page on viewing your payment history and upcoming payments, so check the date first. If it's tomorrow, cancel today.
How to cancel Peacock add-ons#
Peacock sells add-ons, such as premium channels and regional sports networks, on top of the base plan.
- To drop only an add-on: open the subscriptions section of your account, select the add-on and choose the option to remove it. Your base plan stays.
- To cancel everything: cancel the base plan. Peacock's help center says any add-on is set to cancel automatically when you cancel the base plan.
If you want to keep watching but pay less, Peacock also has a help page on changing your plan, so a lower tier may be an option instead of cancelling.
How to cancel Peacock on iPhone, Android and TV#
The device you watch on matters less than who bills you.
| How you pay | Where to cancel | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Directly to Peacock | peacocktv.com → your account | Works in a phone browser |
| Through Apple | iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions | Peacock can't cancel it |
| Through Google Play | Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions | Uninstalling the app doesn't cancel |
| Through Roku or Amazon | Your Roku or Amazon account | Peacock can't cancel it |
| Xfinity | Your Xfinity account or Xfinity support | Peacock refers you to Xfinity |
| Verizon, Spectrum, DIRECTV, Xumo TV | That provider | Check their account page |
| Walmart+ benefit | Your Walmart account → Walmart+ | Managed by Walmart |
| Apple TV and Peacock bundle | Peacock | Apple says to manage it through Peacock |
On an iPhone or iPad#
If you pay Peacock directly, open Safari, go to peacocktv.com and follow the website steps.
If you subscribed in the iPhone app with Apple billing, go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions, choose Peacock and tap Cancel Subscription. You can also use apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Anything billed through Apple has to be cancelled through Apple. Our guide on how to cancel subscriptions on iPhone explains that list.
On an Android phone or tablet#
If you pay Peacock directly, use the website in your browser.
If Google Play bills you:
- Open the Play Store.
- Tap your profile picture.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Choose Peacock and tap Cancel subscription.
The web version is at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. Deleting the app doesn't cancel anything. See how to cancel subscriptions on Android and Google Play for more.
On a TV, streaming stick or console#
Use the website on your phone or computer, unless your TV platform bills you. If you subscribed through Roku or an Amazon device, cancel in that platform's account settings.
If a partner bills you for Peacock#
Peacock's help center lists several third parties that can bill for Peacock, including Amazon, Apple, DIRECTV, Google Play, Roku, Spectrum, Verizon, Xfinity and Xumo TV. Its message is the same for all of them: Peacock can't cancel a plan it doesn't bill, so contact that company.
A good sign you're billed by a partner: there's no cancel option on your Peacock account. Peacock says the payment method shown in your account's plans and payment section tells you whether a third party handles billing.
Peacock through Xfinity#
Peacock refers billing and cancellation questions for Xfinity subscriptions to Xfinity support. Xfinity's own help center has an article on upgrading to and cancelling Peacock Premium Plus, and the steps depend on how Peacock was added to your account, for example as a perk of your internet or TV plan or as a paid add-on.
Start by signing in to your Xfinity account and looking at your subscriptions. If Peacock came free with your plan, it may be tied to that plan or a promotion rather than something you can cancel separately. If you can't find a cancel option, contact Xfinity support. We couldn't confirm a single set of Xfinity steps that applies to every account, so the Xfinity help center is the place to check.
Peacock with Walmart+#
Walmart+ lets members choose a streaming benefit. Walmart's help pages say you can switch between Peacock and Paramount+ (with limits on how often) and cancel the streaming benefit at any time. Sign in to your Walmart account, open Walmart+, find the video streaming tile and manage the plan there.
Walmart also says that if you already pay Peacock directly, you need to cancel that subscription and let it expire before activating the Walmart+ benefit. If you skipped that step, make sure you aren't paying twice. For the Paramount+ side of the same benefit, see how to cancel Paramount Plus.
The Apple TV and Peacock bundle#
Apple and NBCUniversal launched a US bundle of Apple TV and Peacock in October 2025. Apple's support page says to unsubscribe, you manage the bundled subscription through Peacock. Start on your Peacock account page. If Apple TV is the part you want to drop, see how to cancel Apple TV+ as well.
How to tell who bills you#
- Your Peacock account: the payment method in the plans and payment section.
- Your statement: a Peacock charge means direct billing. Apple (often APPLE.COM/BILL), Google, Roku or Amazon means that platform. No separate charge but a bigger internet or phone bill often means a bundle or perk.
If a charge doesn't match anything, search your email for Peacock or partner receipts to see which account it belongs to.
What happens after you cancel Peacock#
- You keep Premium access until the end of your billing cycle. Peacock's help center says so, and your plan won't renew.
- Add-ons end with the base plan. Peacock says they're set to auto-cancel.
- You may still be able to watch some free content. Peacock's help center says that after your paid plan ends, you can watch a limited amount of content for free. What's included can change, so don't count on any particular show or sport.
- Downloads stop working once the paid plan ends.
- No refunds for past payments. Peacock's help center says no refunds or credits are issued for prior payments when you cancel or downgrade, unless required by law. If a partner billed you, their refund rules apply.
A worked example#
Say your Peacock plan costs $10 a month (a round example, not Peacock's current price). Kept all year, that's $10 × 12 = $120.
Peacock is a common "event" subscription: a sports season, the Olympics, a particular series. If you only subscribe for the four months you care about, you pay $10 × 4 = $40, saving $120 − $40 = $80 a year.
If you also pay for an add-on at, say, $5 a month and forget it's there, that's another $5 × 12 = $60 a year. Cancelling the base plan ends add-ons too, which is one less thing to remember. Our guide to streaming rotation shows how to plan this across services.
How to restart Peacock#
- Go to peacocktv.com and sign in with the same email.
- Peacock's help center says you can upgrade to a paid plan from your account at any time.
- Choose a plan and confirm payment.
Check the plan and price before you confirm, since both change. If you restart on a trial or promotional offer, note when it becomes a regular paid plan. Put that date in your calendar.
Troubleshooting: when you can't cancel Peacock#
| What you see | What it usually means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| No cancel option on your account | A partner bills you | Check the payment method and cancel with them |
| Peacock isn't in iPhone Subscriptions | You don't pay through Apple | Use the website |
| Can't sign in | Wrong email or an old account | Use Peacock's chat support to cancel |
| Email saying your paid plan was cancelled | Something changed with billing or a partner | Check Peacock's help page about it and your payment method |
| Two Peacock charges | Direct plus a bundle, Walmart+ or partner | Cancel the extra one |
| Charged after cancelling | Cancelled on or after the billing date | Check the date; contact support |
More to check:
- Old accounts under another email.
- Promotions that ended, which can turn a free perk into a paid plan.
- Family members paying for an account you thought was yours.
If a charge keeps appearing and nobody can explain it, contact your bank or card issuer.
Keep track of when Peacock renews#
Event-driven subscriptions are easy to forget once the event ends. When you sign up for a season, put the next billing date in your calendar with an alert a few days before.
If you're juggling several services and perks, Monthlee keeps them in one list and reminds you on the day or 1, 2, 3 or 7 days before each charge, with no bank login. Mark one as cancelled when you delete it and Monthlee counts what you're saving.
The bottom line#
To cancel Peacock, sign in on the website, open your account's subscriptions or plans section and choose to cancel, at least a day before your billing date. If there's no cancel option, check who bills you, whether that's Apple, Google Play, Roku, Amazon, Xfinity, Verizon, Walmart+ or the Apple TV bundle, and cancel with them.
Remember that add-ons end with the base plan, past payments generally aren't refunded, and you keep access until the paid period ends. Keep the confirmation email.
